I created this blog to document my travels. A seemingly simple task, no? With aspirations to immerse myself in various cultures, to travel the world not just to travel it, but to truly see it and appreciate the places and the people, I need to pause for a moment -overwhelming. However, as Confucius tells us, "a journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step." I hope that as I make my journeys I can remember two things about this "single step": my home, where I take my first step from, and my destination, where I take my first step towards. All other steps are insignificant because it is the first step that defines me. I invite you to join me as I take my many steps around the world.
